Mobile Magical express on the way home

Hi, the magical express will be picking us up 4 hours (ish) before the flight to come home which will be around 1pm. We’re going to do the check in with virgin at Disney springs so will already have boarding passes and no suitcases. Can I request a later magical express? I’m thinking like 2pm which will still give us 2 hours to clear security?

I am pretty sure we did this a few years back giving us an extra hour in Disney.

This year it was 4 hours for us as we were checking in at the airport.

I’d be interested in knowing this as we intend on doing Virgin check in at DS.

The general consensus is there isn't much point in doing check in at Disney Springs if you are using Magical Express to get to the airport. It works much better if you have a hire car. How are you planning to get your luggage to DS as you can't take on the buses? You can just leave it with bell services at your hotel until ME picks you up.

Uber was how we are planning to get to DS to drop bags off.

Yeah we’re planning an Uber as found it a pain last time manoeuvring all the cases & 2 kids around MCO. Planning on Uber to springs for some breakfast and then back to the pool for a few hours

We found it too time consuming first time so didn’t bother on our last visit. Checked out at SSR and had breakfast there, then left the cases with Bell Services. We were at MK by 8.30, stayed till 2pm then bus back to SSR to relax with a drink and get the Magic Express.

Sorry to jump in on this thread but does anyone know if domestic departures is still a pick up 3hrs before flight for magical express or has it recently changed to 4 hrs?
Also if you wanted to change the time of your pick up is this quite easy to do?
Thanks
