Fuji are the best IMO, they have a great range and getting stuff off their refurb site can save a decent amount.

The more expensive full frame mirrorless cameras have some of the best tracking, so if yours has close to this, it will be a great concert camera 😄

I've not read all of the replies bit when we went to Florida in July 2018 it was the first time I didn't take a "proper" camera with me but relied on my mobile which at the time was a Samsung note 8.

In my opinion a phone will never beat s purpose made camera eith decent lenses but the following factors made me compromise and take the phone only approach

1) convenience - small enough to carry around with me all the time
2) automatic backup of photos when on wifi. Reduces the risk of loss of photos/videos
3) it can also record very decent 4k video
4) I could also use it as a phone.

Not sure if mine has tbh but just read on a fb post that some security guards don’t let cameras with a detachable lens in I’ll give it a try anyway if not will just enjoy the show and save the camera for holiday.

Thank for for this. The camera has a feature where you can transfer photos to a phone, I pad etc via WiFi so should be ok.
