A couple of years earlier there was also someone who built an Imperial Star Destroyer out of 40,000 bricks:

And a few years before that, there was an 8 foot long Venator Class Star Destroyer:

The thing is, those were fan-made models and not official models sold by Lego.

Big queues at the Lego store st Disney springs this morning, and lots of disappointed people as they only had 18 of them which were all gone long before opening. Sadly I was just there for Lego friends for Evie as a reward for being brace through last nights fireworks

It really did look amazing in the display case in the store enterence

We managed to order one online yesterday once the Lego website sorted itself out! Hoping it arrives tomorrow or Monday (but not sure - there seems to be fulfilment issues 🙄 )looking to add a time lapse build to our Lego YouTube channel: youtube/user/whatiftherewere2

Having missed out of the 2007 Falcon coildnt resist this one!

I saw a time lapse build of the new MF the other day on YouTube. It took a team of around 8 or 9 people about 12 hours solid (two days in elapsed time) to build. I think that's the record at the moment?

Just seeing the instruction manual is enough to put me off. It's an inch thick and the size of a laptop.
