Thank you, this is very interesting. We have booked for August and doing a "cheapish" trip. I'm also interested about watching the fireworks at the poly. Can anyone do this?

Yes
We parked at Disney springs took the bus to poly had Ride on the monorail and back for fireworks.
I took cheese and wine in my bag and sat on the sun beds with cheese and wine and watched the fireworks in comfort.

Then bus back to the car.

All of this with no Disney tickets.

This has been really helpful thank you.

We are doing Universal only and we are wondering how much offsite dining to do with having to factor in Uber charges.

Interesting reading - we're taking a friend this year so trying to keep costs down as much as possible. Not tried Steak n Shake before, so it's now definitely on the list!

Hope you have a great time . I think it is good to show how far budget can stretch without trying too hard. This is great especially for those who panic about if they have enough money each day.

It’s easy to overspend especially with kids, drinks and snacks. You’re doing well.
