Day 2 Continued

Comic Strip Cafe, Islands of Adventure









DD was hungry late morning so she had a cheese pizza and a coke zero.

Cost $13.69 after discount (saved $1.43)



Cafe opened at 11am, we waited a couple of mins for it to open but they let people wait inside in the a/c.



As it was passholder appreciation month our seasonal annual pass qualified for the 10% food and drink discount, usually you need a dearer annual pass for this perk but from mid august to end September any passholder saved 10% on food and drink.

Pizza was fine, DD was happy.



Can you remember my trip reports from a few years ago when DD would smile beautifully and pose with the food. Well this is the 12 year old tweenager version!

Late lunch

Culver's near Millenia Mall

4591 Power Center lane 32839



I'd seen Culver's mentioned on the Dibb. This is a new location up near Millenia mall. There is also one one at 9070 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy in Kissimee

It's fast food but a cut above the usual quality and all cooked to order. I'd seen the food described as similar to Friendly's and I'd say that was a spot on description.

For joining the email club we had a coupon for a free value basket meal











I had the cod fillet basket with soda and crinkle cut fries which was really good. DH a wisconsin double cheese burger basket with soda and the wisconsin cheese curds. DD Had 4 piece chicken tenders with soda and crinkle cut fries.







The cheese curds were delicious, definitely get those!



We also got a oreo mint icecream shake. They do lots of flavours of ice cream, they call it custard. It was good.


Food was very hot, tasty and employees friendly. Would definitely go again

Wawa

We only stopped for Petrol but whilst I went to pay I sneeked a few pics. They had a large selection of food and drink which all looked very nice. The wraps were massive for $3.99. They also did coffee and hot breakfast sandwiches which were very cheap - something like 2 for $4

This one was opposite Culver's at Millenia but we also went to a Wawa on sandlake Road not far from I Drive. They are a big chain you see lots of them about.

Super Target Mall of Millenia





Regular readers will know DH and DD HATE me taking supermarket pics. I now resort to going off on my own so I can take photos without being moaned at.




We did buy a few snacks and water - pringles, oreos, m & m's, vanilla and cherry coke zero. Plus random stuff to bring home and DD bought some Elf make up which was a lot cheaper than in Superdrug in uk.
