I agree with this, I'm not feeling the love for any of the characters, makes me wonder wether they have been cast like that on purpose?

I haven't warmed to any of the main characters but on reflection that may play out into the storyline, they're as bad as each other.

Apart from Lisa (I think that's her name) I don't mind the characters in the police; I hope Med comes through in the end.

We stuck it out and think it finished well. All parts of the story were tied up nicely and it wasn't over complicated.

I finally watched the last episode last night and also thought it finished well. I may even have a trip over to Morecambe, used to visit a lot as a child !

Stuck with it... and sort of enjoyed it.
Some of it was filmed in Whitehaven harbour in Cumbria as there is not a harbour in morecambe!

We watched it all.
Thought it was OK, but we haven't seen Broadchurch.

Some very arty shots of Morecambe in the titles and some beach scenes.
Sad to see Morecambe portrayed as a bit of a dump. I used to go to Morecambe quite often on day trips with my mum as a child and have fond memories of it. If I still lived reasonably close I too would take a trip over to visit.

To be honest I thought Morecambe looked a bit better on screen than I remembered it ! The Midland Hotel is supposed to be very nice and I would like to see the Eric Morecambe statue too.

Stuck with it as felt invested in it, but I didn't really care what happened if that makes sense, found it clumsy and ALL the characters were dislikable!

I watched until the end just to see the conclusion. It was ok and did tie up all the loose ends. I didn’t guess who did it but by the end I wasn’t really bothered.

We’ve just watched this on a 2 night binge and I really enjoyed it. Ok. Maybe not the best thing I’ve ever watched but we enjoyed it and wanted to watch the next episode as they ended.
