I know any fault would be easily spotted when carpet is first laid in an empty room, but Is the fault going to be noticeable once you have all your furniture back in place? Would you be happy to put up with it? I would be tempted to tell them that you will accept a full refund for the faulty carpet and the fitting costs and that you will source a replacement elsewhere in your own time. After all, you don't want to be rushed into choosing an alternative by this supplier.

No unfortunately itís right in the doorway as you enter from the hallway. There is no way of hiding it.
