Do any DIBBers rent points "in advance"

What I am asking is if we wanted to rent points, do any renters here take "bookings" for more than 11 months out? Obviously, it's not a guaranteed thing, as the renter won't have access to the points, but I was just curious.

TIA

In about a week I’ll be renting out points for the first time. If times/exchange rates were different I’d be happy to rent in advance, but as things stand at the moment I’ll use a broker so I can get more money for far less effort. I think a lot of people on here feel the same at the moment so you might be better using one yourself.

The only problem I could see would be taking money in advance then not being able to make the booking if it was a popular room/time that was requested, but I haven’t done this yet so I’m sure others will correct me if I’m wrong.

I wouldn't rent points until I could make a booking and take the money personally.

I've only rented any of my points a few times, but I do it direct, and it's not until the reservation is confirmed that I take any money.

I've no plans to rent 2020's points btw.

Sorry, good luck getting what you want, I'm sure as the PP said, one of the agents will take a request in advance.
