Those dues

I can’t say that anything about this appeals to me. I’ll be interested to see what Rivera hits with resale though.

I wonder if the high dues and points have a eye on the inevitable low resale value of the riviera resort.

Wow them dues are high and I own at Vero but the price paid was very low (sub $50!)

I honestly do not understand the pricing or the points costs for this resort. Why do they think it is such a premium product? It just baffles me. I shall definitely be sticking with my 1 bed at Boardwalk over Christmas and my 1 bed MK view at BLT over NY!

Completely agree, I guess they feel they can get new owners, (& star wars fans) in who won't have anything to compare with, and to be fair, they probably will!

Doesn’t make me want to stay there but the 1 bed tour looks really nice, I love the pull down (?murphy) bed over the sofa and the square balcony.

Not so sure about the European tub!

I don't know of anywhere public yet (it's a FB post from someone I know), I'm sure it won't be long until it's on the Disboards and someone C+P's it over here. facebook/watch/?v=315155322534308&t=16

Thanks for the link I think they've done a really good job and the pull down bed is awesome! Will definitely stay here for a couple of nights next year.

I note that they call it a “preferred” view rather than something more specific like “theme park” view like at BLT. So does that mean that even after dropping that many points per night you might not even see the fireworks from your room?

If I could guarantee an Epcot fireworks view like the MK fireworks view I know I’ll get at BLT if I book a theme park view room then I may be tempted but I’m concerned that even after dropping all those points I may not even be able to see the fireworks
