Just wondering what happened on the last episode. Did he get together with Natalie ?

No, but Natalie meets someone else.
The puzzle of who killed Monks wife is solved and he finds out something which makes him happy at last.
Don’t want to give any more away in case others are watching the re-runs of the re-runs but it all wraps up nicely.
