Interrailing

Hello has anyone been interrailing round Europe?

I know absolutely nothing about it, my son has just announced that he’s off with his mate in July

Sure he will be fine, any info or tips would be welcome

My son went to Europe for three weeks last summer, visiting Prague, Vienna, Ljubljana, Zagreb and Budapest. He had planned on using the trains, but it worked out a lot cheaper to use coaches.

I'm watching Race across the World on BBC just now. 6 episodes. 5 couples have to get to Singapore without flying. Worth a look. Lots of ideas there. Coach seems to be cheapest in a lot of cases and overnight too if cost is an issue.
