If it’s any help I’m just back from the Rosen Shingle Creek today. My parents took one of the hotel’s cars to Aquatica and it cost $16. They’re lined up out the front (my parents don’t ‘Uber’). You can get the free hotel shuttle to Seaworld and Aquatica but it’s a bit of a faff and involves changing shuttles at Universal. There are a couple of public Lynx buses; the 111 stops on universal boulevard outside the hotel and goes to Seaworld in one direction and the Florida Mall in the other. The 58 goes right into the hotel grounds but has slightly odd timings and doesn’t run during the middle of the day. That takes you to the Destination parkway super stop where you can transfer on to other services or (I think) stops on I-drive by the convention centre. It’s a lovely hotel and we had a great time. I messaged the hotel on facebook a couple of weeks before we went and they reserved some lovely rooms for us overlooking the pool, which we asked to have if it were possible. Enjoy!

Staying at the Creek for a week in September, it reminds me of a Vegas casino, can't wait.

We stayed here last August, it was fantastic, the hotel is huge!
I would recommend entering the through the doors of the convention centre attached to the hotel, you'll see the (many) doors opposite the car park. Its much cooler to walk through than around the outside to the reception area. I would drop Troy an email and ask for a room on one of the higher floors, it can be quite noisey in the evenings around the pools if there is a convention on, pools are amazing though, staff are brilliant. Onsite shop very expensive but there is a Publix across the road. Pizza from the shop is great and reasonably priced. |

You can get an Uber for only a few dollars, you dont realise how close the hotel is to International drive, once on iDrive you can use the Green Trolly service.
