Do a search on here for Papamouse, he is very knowledgeable on this very subject having been through it with Thomas Cook before.

He did a few threads on it at the time.

Thanks guys. The only slight issue I may have is that I booked the entire holiday through My Magic Holiday and when I go into my online TC account it doesnt have a price next to the flights. Ive emailed Myah at MMH to ask if they can give me the price breakdown for the flight so I know what to claim. Read Papamouses post and it sounds like we shouldnt have any issues claiming as we were told at check in. Seems people have had issues when they have been told in advance.

Papa mouse is your man, he is an expert. They will try & fob you off with the difference between economy & premium economy but if you persevere they govenin eventually. We didnt have to go to court & got 75% of the cost of the flight back. Just be prepared, their customer service is not the greatest!

Linda. Do you mean the entire seat cost plus 50? Or the difference between Econ to PE plus 50?

I wouldn't settle for the latter.

This is where carriers like Virgin come into their own. They were so good to me when we got bumped.

I presume she meant the difference in cost between the two..they just found out at check in yesterday morning that there was a change of plane.🤔
