Sanaa bread service

Is it acceptable to book a table for lunch at Sanaa and only take the bread service ?

It’s your meal, however instead of taking up a table go to the bar area & order it .

I had a quick check and it looks like there are no reservations for the lounge.

We were there end of December. Walked into the bar (early afternoon) and asked if it was okay to have drinks and the bread service. There were no tables left in the bar so they took us to a spare table in the restaurant - we had a lovely view of the animals!

Thank you, that makes me feel better if we take a table. I just don’t think we would be able to enjoy a meal after eating all that bread.

How big is the bread service? We are at AKL for a couple of days in October so was planning on trying it first. Our DP won’t start til we check in to the next hotel though and Mrs And Master Mickie aren’t big eaters

We went to the lounge. It’s quite small but we shared a long table with another party. We had the bread service and some starters between 4 of us.
