Never had a delivery when on ddp and have always had little ones with us,always had plenty of food. However if you really hate the supermarket,a delivery might be a good idea, each to their own.
We love a trip to Walmart even if its unnecessary 😀

We haven't got kids but we only went to a supermarket before the dinning plan, we've not really needed it as there's a shop on site if you need to get the odd thing and anything else is free if you have free DDP, I get that you do pay a lot more at the shop on site but probably works out the same by the time you've paid for delivery? And bought stuff you don't really need

Yes! I keep thinking what if the kids want a snack or snacks for round the parks or just water. I have a 2yr old who still has milk and is in nappies. And then shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. We are st SSR too so have facilities so I’m thinking a couple of microwave kids meals cereal or bagels etc will be useful. He thinks we can just get it all there and between those bits and the DDP it’ll be fine.

That’s exactly his point. He thinks we will have enough there.

We’ve had a garden grocer delivery the last two times onsite. (I find the prices ok) we buy water, milk, wine, beer, crisps and fruit.

For example, the wine was $10 a bottle with GG, where as in the onsite shop it was $17 and the water is much cheaper to buy in bulk than using snack credits.

I don’t think it’s essential though and I’m undecided for our trip in October, as we are only onsite for 10 nights and in a hotel room rather than an OKW Villa with a kitchen.

Every counter service restaurant will give you free water you just have to ask and you don't have to buy anything either, there are also baby centres in every park if you go on you tube there's lots of info about these and they have everything you would need.
And they sell plenty of fruit around the park's too

We always have the ddp and don’t ever buy anything, everything is covered on the dining plan, we get milk for the room, as a drink on a qs , and get cold drink with our refillable mugs.
We also get bottles of juice to.

Nope deffo don’t need a grocery delivery

I had a garden grocer delivery, but ordered way too much! If we went again I’d still have a delivery but would order much less!
