Excited about Disney

I had something similar happen to me and the dentist cleaned the crown and made a new base for the crown to sit on, the whole procedure took 45 mins. There was no cost to me as the crown was less than 12 months old.
My suggestion would be to take the crown to the dentist and see if they can repair the existing crown, this will be the cheapest option. If the crown can't be replaced you will be looking at the other options suggested in the previous posts. |

Calling dentist this morning guessing they will be busy after long weekend. Regarding getting a credit card I was in a debt management plan with step change so not even sure I could apply for one with my credit rating (even if I wanted to which I don’t) but thank you for your suggestion.

Would someone in your family lend you the money ? Or do you have some holiday spends saved up ? You’ve got time to pay it back before you go away ?

If the remaining tooth is still inside the crown you will need a root canal doing on that particular tooth before they could put in a post to attach the crown back as the nerve may be exposed where it has snapped. If the nerve isn't exposed they could put pins in the remaining tooth and put a composite filling on top of the pins and shape it to allow the crown to fit back on. I never think this is as stable but it would allow you time to save for other treatment. As others have said they could remove the tooth and bridge it. You would have to wait 3-6 months for a permanent bridge as you will need time to allow the gum and bone to shrink back. A temporary bridge or denture can be put in place so you don't have a gap. it would be the same with an implant. You would need a bone graft with the implant to check the you are suitable for one. Hope this is helpful x
