Cancellation costs

I am thinking of booking a two week holiday for next year on site when dining is released, however we are not 100% sure if we can go as possibly moving house so finances may be tight.

If i book it later this week and then need to cancel it does anyone know what costs I would incur?

Thanks

If you book just the accommodation then there will be loss of deposit if you cancel before a certain date (I think about 8 weeks before). We will be doing this as I am gambling on getting reasonable priced flights

Yeah I'm probably going to do this too. I think it's £50 per person deposit

It might be best if you just book for one person. You can always add on extra people later as long as you’ve booked a room that’s suitable for the amount of people who will be travelling. That way you’d only lose £50 rather than £50 * 2 or whatever. Presuming you’d be booking direct with Disney.

This unless you need a room for 5 . ATD do a £200 deposit which is what I will have top pay as I want to secure a big enough room.

You can secure the room type with Disney over the phone and still book just one person ( ie a 5th sleeper room) and just pay the £50 for 1 person. That’s what I did last year .

When I have looked my dates, the rooms for 5 come up separately. Not sure whether that’s across the board but I’ve seen them on there as we are a party of four but will be looking for a third bed.
