Credit Card Associated

Morning Dibblonians,

ADRs in 20 days. Do you need a Credit Card associated in MDE to make ADRs?

Some kind of payment card- and double check it’s still there before ADR day the system seems to have lost mine twice in the last week!

having a card linked to your account makes things go a lot quicker as otherwise you'd have to enter the card details each time for every separate adr you make.

You can use a credit or debit card

Is any money held/blocked on the card (reserving for 12 so that could get expensive) or is it only charged if you don't turn up?

Pretty sure they just want a card and then charge if you don't turn up - pretty sure it doesn't apply a block / hold money.

Personally I wouldn’t associate my debit card to anything, because you are actually associating your bank account - your money.

I would always use a credit card because you have much more protection against frauds.

Obviously if you don’t have or want a CC you have no choice but in that case I would move most of my money out of my account before handing over the DC. Just leave enough for however much WDW will want to hold.

It just needs to be a valid card, they don’t hold anything
