The difference in quotes...

I’ve been getting quotes ready for when Disney release their prices on a Thursday. This is for a week in August 2020 at CBR for two adults, three children with 14 day passes and free QSDP.

The cheapest was £3536.70 and Virgin want £4600 for the same thing! Be interesting to see what Disney’s prices are.

I am looking at August and 3 weeks is well over £12000 booking as a package 2 adults and 3 children. If I could get these prices I would bite their hand off Tickets alone are over £2000 for 5. What dates are these for?

Ditto (roughly speaking).

Around £3000 for 2 weeks at a moderate direct with Disney, £1350 for Disney tickets, £850 for Universal tickets, about £1500 for flights with Thomas Cook. Total = £6700-ish.

For me, it's flying out around 23rd August and returning around the 6th Sept.

Remember that for both Disney Jo and myself its for 3 people and 2 weeks, not 5 people and 3 weeks. Disney tickets alone will cost you £1K more, flights will cost you at least £1K more, and an extra week at the moderate will cost £1.5K more. So that's at least £3.5K more. If you're going earlier in August then I suspect prices will be more.

As Nimbus has said our quote was for 1 child only. We are looking anytime in August and the prices are all around that price. Will wait for tomorrow to see whether they change.

Sorry I wasn't asking Jo her price seemed 'normal' I was asking the OP as that price seemed really cheap.
My people configuration is the same as the OP's lol . The £3500 price seems to be reflective of flights excluding accommodation and tickets during the August period so seems a great deal I understand the cost differences between 3 and 5. DIY we have been coming in at around 10k.It is an absolute killer with 3 children lol

Ah, ok - I was confused by you quoting Disney Jo's post.

I assumed the OPs price was only for the 1 week hotel stay, tickets and free QSDP. They didn't mention flights.

£3536.70 for 1 week at CBR and 5 tickets sounds about right albeit about £200 less than I would've estimated (again, assuming no flights). If it also includes flights then that's a bargain!
