Jilly& Willy's First. Meemee's 6th Day 5 cont.

www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=351691Dates 11/9/09 to 25/9/09

The cast

Me 52 years slightly OCD, that tight I only breathe in. Been to Disney 10 times
My Al. OH Driver Pathfinder
Meemee: Me mother. 75 years ailments too many to mention drives an ECV we call it the COC (chariot of carnage)
Our Willy: 50 yrs first time to Florida is an interesting shape.
Jilly. 50 yrs has rheumatoid athritus doesn't phase her.

Now before I give you the rest of my day 5 at Animal Kingdom I would like to thank the lady who has been 'bumping my tale'.
I just can't do all this link stuff and this "bumper" has been really kind.

Also I would like to mention a conversation I had with Meemee yesterday.

Meemee:" Here have you been writing stuff on that t'internet about our Willie".
Me:" Yeah I think people should know about the pitfalls of eating in Hoolighans with the Adams Family serving you".
Meemee:" You've been tellin everyone that our Willy is a porker.
and that he looks like Buddah, and all about his piles".
Me: "Well he does look a bit like Buddah, and he did get piles and are you telling me I can't mention his "Crotch Rot" then".
Meemee: "You should be more sensitive to My little porkers feelings". (Honestly mothers and their sons)!
He's a bloody bailiff they don't have any feelings.
Does he think that he is gonna turn up at somebodies house to swipe their telly.
They are gonna say "Ere are you that bloke that screamed like a girl on BTMR, cried on its a small world, had piles and caught crotch rot".
I even haven't posted his photograph.
Yet! !
Any way to continue we went to Ak the car park was empty but once again the park was full of people all armed with a buggy.
We went straight for the 10 oclock showing of the Lion King.
The Q was massive plus it was really hot. So we sacked that. We were really thirsty and needed a drink.
We stopped near Its tough to be a bug.
We had a drink and a quick sugar fix.
We then continued into its a bugs life as it was only showing 5 minutes.
Gets into the Q.
The pen holding the ECVs was really busy.
Our Cm was called Hal.
Tall, very distinguished, no nonsense type, about 70, obviously ex army.
(This is something I did note this year a lot of the CMs are way past retirement age.)
The doors opened and they all filed in.
The first ECV decided he wanted to sit in the middle.
Why does everybody want to sit in the middle?
This caused a traffic jam all the Ecvs trying to get through and nowhere to go.
The doorway was now two abreast and nobody could get through.
Hal was having none of it.
He jumped over them ECVs like Colin Jackson doing the 100mtre hurdles.
Hal wasn't just ex army.
This guy was pure Delta Force.
None of this Disney voice simpering please move all the way to the end. (Everybody ignores them anyway).
He just took command MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT!
Everybody did as they were told.
What a guy.
He certainly got my juices going.

The show was great 3 D I love it but a lot of the little uns were screaming.
We came out of there and took a trip to Africa for the safari.
The Q was 40 minutes so we decided to have another drink and check in later.
Next thing the heavens opened.
It was raining so hard they were even taking the animals in two by two.
We took shelter seated near to an American couple who had 3 little kids. (Triplets about 3/4 years)
We made the usual small talk and I found out that the reason for all the buggies was that Disney had put out loads of offers for those weeks and it was only people with pre school age kids that could take them up.Hence AK and MK really busy.

Meemee was talking in her GOOD voice.
Has anybody else got a mother that does this.
She has a GOOD voice which she reserves for the telephone and strangers.
She has her GOOD china mugs again for strangers and in our case Aunty Amy.
Then she has her GOOD coat and shoes to go the doctors in!

So the father of the triplets said (referring to Meemee),
" Hey kids this lady just sounds like Mary Pawpins"
(The Americans just can't say Poppins).
Actually she sounds like Norah Batty but as I said she had her GOOD voice on.
So the kids all flocked round Meemee.
This is how it went.

Meemee: Hello little girl whats your name?

!st Little Girl: Victoria

Meemee in her GOOD voice: OOOOOOOH thats nice, we had a very famous queen called Victoria. Perhaps you'll marry a prince one day and become a queen.

2nd little girl I'm Isabella

Meemee in her GOOD voice :OOOOOOOh thats nice, Spain had a very famous queen called Isabella. Perhaps you'll marry a prince one day and become a queen.

3rd little BOY. I,m Mac

He was stood there, his little face all expectant eager waiting to find out who he was named after.

OOOOOOOOH you must have been named after...

I could see this intense mind fog enveloping Meemee.

I just knew all her thinking had been grounded.

My toes started curling.

Then it came.

A very famous razor blade!

Well there was a bit of a lull in the conversation and Mac obviously wasn't happy.

I did try to explain to them that Meemee wasn't a nutter she just has this "unique sense of reality".
She is also very good at disguising herself as a responsible adult.

The couple decided to brave the torrents and go back to their hotel.

So off they trudged with their 2 little princesses and a traumatised razor blade.

Anyway onwards and upwards we went and did the safari. It was still slightly raining so not brilliant.

We walked on down to the rapids it had stopped raining but the Q was 60 minutes.

If you are on the big side and your thighs are together if you do a lot of walking your wet shorts start to rub and then you get crotch rot.
Not that this affected any of our party.

But we decided to call it a day. We would be coming back anyway.
To be honest its day 5 and we need the rest.

Our Willy had his 10 dollar carrier at the villa. For his Ready Steady Cook Challenge.

He turned out

meatloaf, fried cabbage and onions with jacket potatoes.

He knocked up a bolognaise to go in the freezer.

He also knocked up a coleslaw

It did take him 1 hr 20 mins and he does cook with a lot of wine.

None of it goes in the cooking though.

Tomorrow we are having a theme park free day Celebration and Boggy Creek.

He also prepped up his signature dish CHICKEN A LA HUMPTY DUMPTY.

Meemee sounds such good fun.

Between your bailiff and Hal the Delta force guy, you sure go for the tough guys.

Have you forgotten about Clint already.

Great report.
