No it’s not a worry, we will just look at other restaurants around the airport, at the end of the day the celebrations start at the other end .

My apologies, I appear to have completely misunderstood what this "Vroom" was, I was presuming this was accommodation!

Glad to hear the rest of your holiday is still going ahead!

There is a lot of work going on at T2 manchester at the moment and I know lounges are limited, it may be that they have bumped 'normal' guests for Upper guests to use the V-room if there is limited lounge availability, I know it's not right and it should be first come first served especially if you paid for it, i'm going on 2/11/19 and booked the V-Room at manchester so i'll see if we're going to be booted out, won't be happy especially following the POR overbooking disaster from before.

Yes the overbooking fiasco caused a lot of us unnecessary stress, this has to be my worst booking ever. Trying to stay positive from now on.
Had the agent offered the words, sorry, unfortunately, regretfully , it would have diffused my anger somewhat, however it was blunt and to the point

What gets my goat is that we as customers in situations like this are powerless. They take your money and if that what to change something they can. We however have to pay extra if we what to change something. Money back is no way the same as having something you paid for and look forward to taken off you with out good reason!

They did this to someone I work with last year but they offered a different lounge instead which he took. This was from Manchester
