Hope he gets well soon. Spent all the 90's regularly visiting Old Trafford with our young sons watching Manchester Utd play. Wonderful memories of great family trips. He was such an inspiring, successful manager.
Both our sons have been in touch tonight to say how upset they are to hear he is ill. I know he is not well loved by all football fans, but to Man Utd supporters he is the best manager ever. Get well soon Fergie |

I was at Brighton last night and as you can imagine pretty annoyed at the performance..this puts it all into perspective. I know a couple of ex players and they have heard the op went well and he's expected to be in intensive care for 7-14 days...

Terrible news. My hero from the 80s and his Dons domination. Ever since he has felt like one of us.
I really hope he get lots of ‘fergie time’ and pulls through.
