Mobile Virgin Lounge

Can anyone tell me why Virgin don’t allow flight only passengers to use their airport lounge in Manchester? I realise it’s for those on the holidays with Virgin bit surely they should consider opening one for the rest of us? Thoughts?

It’s the same in Gatwick I think.

I suppose it’s to make paying the sometimes a lot higher VH prices more appealing? Ie the lounge is exclusive to VH customers only, it’s a USP.

Perhaps it is busy enough with the VH customers, so they wouldn't have the capacity for the flight customers. :-)

It's owned and operated by VH which is a separate company from VS.

The main issue is the limited number of places so VH customers will always get priority.

Yeah even when flying in upper VA you can’t use the v room as it’s virgin holidays.
Mind it’s not a patch on the clubhouse at Heathrow 😉

If you are flight only with Virgin Upper Class you can use the Escape lounge, plus you get fast track security!

It's been confirmed the new T2 will have a Virgin clubhouse for upper class passengers. Including a spa, too.

Last time we used it we thought it was pretty useless as a lounge & the free FT was slower than the normal line. Will be better when they build the new Lounge there hopefully.

We’re going on holiday with Virgin holidays and can’t get the VRoom as it’s already booked up. The lounge doesn’t even have the space for its own customers
