Upgrading to annual passes

Hi all

I know this probably has been asked but I'm on my phone & it doesn't like the search function.

I've decided that if I enjoy DLP when I go that I'll upgrade my ticket to an Annual Pass as I may (fingers crossed) be spending six months in France next year and would be an hour or so away from Paris so would be able to go frequently.

Do I have to upgrade before I use the tickets or can I do it towards the end of the trip when I know if I actually want to or not?

Unfortunately I don't think you can upgrade tickets which come as part of the disney accommodation

. I could be wrong though, but that's my understanding.

Bother, was hoping that it might work like the ultimates in WDW

thats right, if your park tickets are included in an onsite hotel package, they have no monetary value on their own, so they can't be used to get any discount on an annual pass.
