Mobile staying of site at dream castle ?

So think we are going October half term. Thinking of dream castle, we want a pool, free wifi (teenager) and proper beds for the 4 of us and would like breakfast. So think this hotel covers my list but is it any good?

its a great hotel - i have no experience of the wifi in the rooms though (mine wasn't a teenager who needed to be online when we were last there ).

Can I add that Dream Castle is not an on site hotel. It is a partner hotel. You don't get EMH and you cannot walk to the parks from there. I hear it is a good hotel but it is not actually on site.

however, if you have either a Fantasy or Dream Annual Pass for a park entry ticket, you do get EMH, no matter where you stay .

And as the Dream Castle is along at the end of the road where the Santa Fe entrance is, you could walk it if you needed to - it would take around 25 minutes, but it is doable.

Dream Castle is a nice hotel, wifi works well, you just need your surname the room is booked under and room number to login. I walked back one night as the queue for the bus was crazy and it took about 20 mins.

Look at booking the room with someone like Travel Republic as its much cheaper than booking direct, then depending on how long you are staying either annual passes or buying normal tickets online somewhere

Iv stayed there before and it's really nice!

It just lacks the extra that the disney hotels have such as EMH and the dedicated shuttle busses.

You should be aware that the shuttle bus goes to all 4 partner hotels before going to the parks, so It can get very busy and crowed!

Here is something I worked out though (if they still do it in this order) The first pick up is at The Thomas Cook Explorers hotel and the last stop is at the Dream castle so its usually pretty full by the time it gets to dream castle.

But since the Thomas Cook Explores is next to the Dream castle we walked over to the dream castle and got the bus from there and usually managed to get seats then it goes and collects from the other hotels then goes to the park.

(They may have changed it but It worked really well for us)

After staying at the Dream Castle over the New Year, I don't think we'll ever actually stay on-site again. We found the staff to be just as good, the room as good and the breakfast set up seemed better than the DLP hotels we've stayed at. We found the buses to be fine and both DH and DD were able to get WIFI in our room. We really are converts to the partner hotels now

I havent stopped at the Dream castle for a number of years now I think it was a movenpick hotel back then and has changed hands a few times - probably very different nowadays! From what I remember the hotel was good, pool was nice and the breakfast was OK, that being said I'd rank it in the "i'd stay here again" but only if it was cheap. It always seems to be >£100 per night whenever I want to stop so ive discounted it.

The only real bad part is no EMH and the shuttle bus is a sardine can. I shudder to think what it would be like after dreams. I would contemplate exploring a bus to Santa Fe and walking the difference (im not sure you can get back into santa fe to catch the bus without a santa fe room key but walking out shouldnt be an issue)
