Some help for a potential first timer...
... after listening to the podcast I was inspired to go get a quote.
Approx £800 for 2 night weeks family of four in a non Davy Crockett hotel, with tickets and half board. Is this a fair price? |

Not really if its outside of school holidays, when are you going?
I got 5 days in november for £535 at sequioa lodge for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids 6 & 3), booked direct with Disney, no travel but booked eurotunnel seperatly.

It depends on when you are going and the ages of your children. I assume this doesn't include transport?

Thanks for the replies... both kids under 12. Fri & Sat night at end of September. (Glasgow's September weekend holiday)
Reran this morning - £785 for Cheyenne, £900 for Newport. Even with half board & tickets I thought it sounded a lot... will try some other dates. |

Also remember rule 1 of DLP - never go at the weekend!
During the week it will be much cheaper and quieter. Can you take advantage of any time when Scottish holidays are different from English and French ones? Also there will probably be an offer along soon - often 4 nights for the price of 2, or 30% or 40% off.

Tbh weekends are a no go, rides times will be over an hour minimum as annual pass holders mob the park all weekend.
We always arrive late on sundays and even at 3 queue times can be really bad, no fast passes available. Sorry to put a dampner or your plans but we all wont you to have a great time

We have booked for next March, 4 nights for the price of 2, two adults in Sequoia Lodge for £600 (without travel - we are going to use Avios and book Eurostar for free).
We don't rate the meal plans so just pay for what we want to eat there.
