Question about Virgin Atlantic economy

Do the arm rests come up completely?
We have booked a seat for our then 18 month old but hoping to lay her across if that makes sense so she can rest her head on our laps when she needs to sleep.

Yea they do... it’s premium economy they don’t! We always put our daughter across us when she wants to sleep

I saw a couple bring a pillow onboard for their little one to lay across... thought that was a really good idea, as the seats are a bit hard. 🙂

The armrests only come up half way in economy in the bubble as I was disappointed to find on my night flight last month when I had a whole row to lay on!

Is downstairs different?

Last few times we have flown with virgin the armrests in economy only go about two thirds of the way up. - annoying and no idea why they changed it - used to go right up

They don’t on the back seat of the bubble but still enough room to lie across the seats.
