Handbag - Denim dye stain!

I bought a lovely cream Coach bag on holiday and today was wearing jeans, which aren’t even new ones!, and noticed dye has stained my bag
I’ve managed to get the stain out a bit with leather upholstery cleaner but is there anything I can put on bag to prevent future staining?

Any advice please

Mmm, probably no difference to what my Wife does to my cream leather seats in the car.

I use Meguiars cleaner and then put a conditioner on that forms a bit of a seal. Good gear.

Try this if the bag is now clean of dye.

Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner

The same happened to me with my Mulberry. I went in to the shop and bought the protector spray they recommend and it is really great. I also use it on my shoes now too to waterproof them.

Depending on the value, you could send it to the handbag spa, expensive but they do a great job

When I bought my Coach bag, a cream one too, they said I had free cleaning on the bag for life, this may be an option to get it cleaned at Coach and then use a protector spray as another Dibber mentioned?

Hope you get it sorted

Thanks for your replies, imo it’s not worth taking to Coach as not too bad but want to try and stop it happening again... I suppose not wear these jeans! 😆
