Request area SSR

Hi,

We’ve just booked 1 night at SSR for our upcoming trip.
Is there an area we should be requesting?

The Springs & Congress are preferred so you can't request those, The Paddock for closest to the bottom end of Disney Springs, Carousel/Grandstand nearer the top end, the latter if you want to be first on/off bus. If it's important I believe the kids splash area at Grandstand is undergoing re-furb but there is one at the Paddock pool.

We requested Congress Park so we could walk to Disney Springs. I guess requests would depend of what your priorities are.

Congress Park is the area where they are starting the refurb.

We stayed in the springs which was a perfect location but I believe they are preferred. Our unit was definitely in need of a refurb as showing it’s age. However, it was immaculate and had everything we needed. I knew before we went that they were due for a refurb but we were definitely was not disappointed. It is a lovely resort so peaceful and tranquil.

I don’t think anyone is in it yet as in the new rooms. They opened up some availability for the back end of September I think, 2 weeks ago, indicating the rooms may come on line then. If you did get one, you’d be the first inside.

If you do get one could you be so kind to take some photos and offer your opinion?
