Mobile Should have been sitting on the runway right now !

As title says we should have been on our way to California right now for our Halloween trip instead looking forward to a week of wind and rain over half term ! No huge point to this thread but I'm sure it all seems quite difficult and bleak to a lot of us at the moment with a very uncertain Christmas ahead, especially as usually we have a trip booked for the future to look forward to but currently don't even want to do that until the news for the future improves a bit (and we get our money back from Mr Virgin and our insurance for this one)
So hoping for happier times for us all

We were only going for a week but had rented some points off a very helpful dibber so were staying in the grand californian and had loads of plans including the oogie boogie bash and a list of snacks to try as long as your arm also had a points (premium) upgrade for the return flight.
Thankfully my job is currently secure but I had to make two of my employees redundant this week with over 30 years service between them so hasn't been my greatest week !
Hope you find a new job soon

I'd not be on the runway, but we would be in the airport right now...

I feel your pain. We should’ve been flying out to Miami next Saturday for our tour of Florida. Instead we’re having a week in the Lake District. Better than nothing, I suppose. Hoping to rebook next year.

I feel your pain too. Should be in Florida now on a big, family holiday. We would have been at Discovery Cove today, a first time for my grown up kids and grandkids swimming with the dolphins. Have felt sad all week thinking about what we would have been doing each day and where we would have been eating. Will be glad when it's November 2nd the day we would have been returning home. Don't even know if we will get there next year, hopefully there will be a vaccine.
