I pick up things throughout the year. I have 6 great nieces/nephews plus 5 of Oh nieces/nephews so I have to be organised and get bargains when I see them.
I normally just pick up stufff in the sake, we got 6 football cones in Asda for 50p for oh football mad nephews.
Dds main present is usually lazy oaf clothes in the sale just before Xmas plus some stocking fillers like alcohol and lush products.
I have really cut down over the years and this year oh have put a £20 limit on each other’s presents.
I have recently changed jobs (I have asked for Xmas off and work new year) and Dd has gone to uni so I’m just looking forward to spending time with everyone this year.

We have cut right back. A couple of years ago we agreed with our immediate family to put names in a hat and we now only have to buy one present (budget of £30).

We all love the idea as it takes a lot of pressure off what to buy everyone and we save a fortune. It ends all the buying something just for the sake of it. The young grandchildren still get spoiled of course.

I’ve bought some things this week 😊
It’s a bit of a risk though as they’ll be non returnable won’t they 🤔
I bought 2 long sleeved t-shirts and sweatshirt for DS

We have a lot of chocolate too 🙈

I bought my son a new jacket from Footasylum yesterday and they said it can be returned if it doesn’t fit. They gave me a date in January but can’t remember the actual date sorry.

A few shops are now advertising their return date for purchases made now - for example both M&S and Matalan are advertising items bought now can be returned into early January.
