Whatever you decide to make could be wrapped in ‘home-made’ wrapping paper. Simply brown paper with something Christmassy printed on in paint. In our reception class we’ve used handprints (made into reindeer), Potatoes with a Christmas tree shape cut into them, ‘strings’ of Christmas lights (take a black thick pen for a ‘walk’ over the paper), then use finger tips to dab on different coloured lights. We usually then get the children to wrap up the calendars we make for the parents.
