Dave, querying the receipt may not have helped. I had similar this week, queried it and man said "that's all prepaid, you won't be charged anything". Got home to $200 fee. In my case it's mostly, but not only, for refueling which is annoying given I deliberately opted for the fuel plan so I didnt get hit with a big refueling cost.

Easiest option.. Message avis via Facebook.. Explain and they will refund back to your card..
