I hate fireworks!

My dog is freaking out, big bangs going in outside and she is distraught! Got music blaring but it’s not working!

Tilly was a shaking, nervous wreck last night too. It’s going to be a long few weeks with all the fireworks. Did you get the dog snood? If so, did it make a difference?
Tilly can’t settle, shaking and panting really bad. We all make a fuss of her but it doesn’t help to be honest. We have the TV on loud but that was no use. There was only the odd fire work so I dread the next few weeks.

We had one of the houses behind ours letting them off at 10pm last night.I could hear all of our neighbours dogs barking, they must be so scared.
Also ended up with a child in my bed as they were right outside ds8’s bedroom
We will probably have them for the next 2-3 weeks now🙄

Aww what a shame 😪 I hope your dog's better this morning Sandra. I agree fireworks should just be at proper displays and not sold to anyone.

love fireworks but they should only be at organised events, my cat is petrified and that’s with only the odd one going off in last week. We face onto football pitches and they usually go off from early to really late at night, not a lot we can do about it though

She hated the snood, I got medium and it’s seems tight, she settled under our bed in the end but then about 1:30am loud bangs again! I let her out of our bedroom in the night and came down to a big puddle on the kitchen floor, she has never weed on the floor since a pup so that’s how stressed she was! I hope it pours down tonight!
