cinema tickets at universal free parking

If you pay for parking at universal the cinema will cover the price of parking when 2or more tickets are purchased

Free Parking with 2 Matinee Tickets
Free Regular Parking* for matinee movie showings from 11am – 6pm with purchase of two or more Universal Cinemark matinee tickets. (Regular Parking fee must be paid in full and then will be reimbursed upon presentation of parking receipt. Restrictions apply.)

But not useful unless you are actually going to watch the film? When we looked it was about the same price as the parking for 2 matinee tickets and it would have taken 2 hours out of our Universal day so i honestly don't see the point?

pay for parking at 9am, spend a day in the parks, go see a film at 5pmish, get your parking money back

Yea we did it the first visit when you dont get free parking on your first visit

Went to see the new "joker" movie

Well if I wanted to go watch a movie and spend a few hours at CityWalk it would be very useful.

There was a previous thread on this, you dont have to see the film but I think from memory they said the tickets were $10 and you got your parking costs back $26.
So that makes parking $10 and a film if you want.
