Tahoe or Grand Caravan?

Just looked at the Avis site to see what our BA Flydrive hire is worth and whether there are any savings to be had.

The Tahoe now shows as £50 cheaper than our 7 seater minivan. As the Tahoe is a group up I would wecome views as to whether it is worth changing

Could also get a Traverse for £160 cheaper but might be too small for 2A and 2 teens with 4 cases

For 4 people, a Tahoe / Full Size SUV would be my choice.

Traverse voted twice US most family friendly SUV.
Bizarre it is smaller yet more luggage space than Tahoe.

Thanks, the safe bet is the Grand Caravan as we have had one 3 times and having seperate seats stops the kids from fighting and given we have a drive from Miami to Clearwater and then in to Orlando the houyrs may get the better of them.

Looking at the Tahoe the seats have a similar format of 2-2-3. Suppose it comes down to which is the better to drive and is more likely to be the newer car when i get there

I would be going for the Tahoe,
fantastic car, bucket loads of space and a far nicer place to be than a minivan

We usually get a minivan but got a Tahoe last month as it was quite a bit cheaper. It was great to drive but not so good when all seats were up. The back row of 3 is much better in the minivan. However, with that row down, we could put DS wheelchair in without folding it up.

interesting that you have had both and you would pick the Tahoe ? Is it just a nicer interior and drive?
