Alamo F150

Hi all, have been keeping an eye on next September hire car options and prices using dfch and have just noticed an option for a Ford F150 (or similar) bookable with Alamo at a cost of £854 for 3 weeks initially as its just 2 of us I was thinking convertible for a change but seeing the F150 has made me reconsider
My question is has anyone taken that option and if so did you actually get the Ford or something else also what model and engine spec were they renting

Many thanks

We had the f150 as part of a normal car hire, we had a suv booked and asked to take the the truck and they said yes.

Kids loved it

I'm told some time early this week we should be getting some better rates through for the F150 / Dodge Ram category with Alamo so worth holding off a few more days.

Just out of interest where do the pickups sit in regards to classification? In other words is it an upgrade from standard SUV or Full size or Intermediate?
We have a Full Size booked (through Andy) so wondered if these pickups will be in our lineup or whether they are an upgrade thing?

They're in their own category (although sometimes you may find them in the standard SUV row)

So unlikely to bag one in the Full Size row unless we fall lucky?
