Surviving 9/11

Did anyone else watch this on BBC? Very powerful. Hard to watch. I’d never really seen much on how it impacted people from the UK before.

It’s available to watch on catch up.

Anyone familiar with the story of the man who led the lady down from the 90th floor? I think he said her name was Lucy and they were separated just before the north tower collapsed. Does anyone know what happened to Lucy?

I try not to watch anything as my daughter was there on the day, she survived but the wait for us trying to get in touch with her was horrible, worst day of our life

Wouldn't wish it on anyone , she was only 19 due to fly home after being on camp America for 3 months, her and her cousin had planned to visit the twin towers that day but slept in , thank goodness they did

Oh how awful for you - I can quite see why you wouldn't want to relive that day

My grandparents were at one of the new York airports about to fly home at the time, when all flights were grounded a total stranger on hearing their accent offered to put them up in their own home!
