I'm hoping to go to Hotel Chocolat very soon - as they dont have my fav's on the online store and I ran out of my stocks a couple of months ago

Too cold for me sadly. The prospect of queuing in the bitterly cold temperatures couldn’t persuade me to go out, but I’m looking forward to when it warms up a bit just strolling around.

I went to Primark yesterday in Liverpool and was actually surprised by how little we queued etc! It was busy but that Primark always is. We queued from just round the back of the shop to get in but were in within 10 minutes. Got most things I wanted that I’d seen people posting online. Well organised and nowhere near as bad as the papers were making it out to be 😊

we went to the metro centre today and it was very quiet.
It was also sad to see how many empty shops there are now since the lockdown. It reminded me of a shopping mall in Michigan where the only shops in the mall were at each end. Is this where we are moving forward to - i feel for all the jobs lost over the last 12 months.

Non-essential shops still closed where we live but can always drive across the border if we wanted to go that desperately.
