Am I missing something?

I am eager to get the $50 voucher and book my Discovery cove tickets today, but a quick search reveals I can buy this ticket much cheaper than Discovery Cove are selling it. Making the deal absolutely useless.

They seem to be charging $259 for a 3 park non swim ultimate, whereas a third party retailer is charging £146.

Have I got something wrong here?

One is in dollars and the other is in pounds. What is the dollars amount when converted to pounds?

Check your dates for the exact price. While the DC site says from $259, there are actually many dates within the offer validity which are cheaper - can see lots at $209 for example which makes it much the same price as the UK seller. Where £146 is the cheapest price I can find on a UK site, it goes up from there.

But otherwise, nope. It's no different to buying something half the price through say Amazon compared to going to another retailer, the former just sets their profit margin lower. I suspect it's a date issue though, and the price will be much the same when comparing the true like-for-like.
