Derry and the bat...

I apologise if this has been posted, I couldn't find it in the search option.

A friend sent this to me yesterday and with the ongoing stress as to whether our winter home will be floating in Pine Island Sound or still insitu this was for some wonderful light relief. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard that I cried, it was a hoot and I confess to watching it quite a few times since. Doubtless many have seen it, for those who haven't, enjoy

I was incapable for a while after watching it Helen, and keep taking a peek now and again. It has made such an impact around the world that Jimmy Kimmell did a video phone call with them, that was almost as funny as the father did an Irish jig!

This is so funny . I particularly liked "Maureen will you stop looking in the door" - as though the bat would be affected by being watched .

I can't wait to show my daughter tonight, she has an ear for accents and I'm sure we'll be howling at this for months ...
