Is back in a couple of weeks !
I am super excited but i have just found out all 3 judges are leaving so this is their last season :'(

Great that it's going to be back soon I'm watching the new series of My Kitchen Rules in the meantime as I love that too. Some interesting teams this year!

Shame about the judges though. They're part of what makes the show for me. Will be interesting to see who they get in their place. I wonder if Shannon will be offered one of the jobs. Curtis Stone is also a regular on there. Hmm, will have to wait and see and reserve judgement.

Read this earlier of Gary's fb page. Said it was taking up too much time for the 3 of them but that they would take on other projects together in the future just not MC. Would def like to see Shannon get a shot at it but will be v hard to replace the 3 lads

I’ve just finished watching this season - it’s a corker!
Re Matt, George and Gary, I think that George was poisonous for the brand, especially demanding a huge salary after underpaying his staff for so long. I hear that they are all in talks for a rival show...

Who knows who will be the new judges... possibly Curtis Stone? Shannon I don’t think will do it as he cited family reasons not to be in this season...

We have watched it, didn’t like the winner really. Disappointed that the judges are leaving, I think the fuss over George and the payroll issues is blown out of all proportion, he doesn’t personally run payroll, there was an error and it was fixed.

I cannot see Curtis Stone relocating from LA to appear on it. Shannon would be good but I am not sure he would either considering his reasons for not appearing as a regular this time, the previous contestants as mentors were not a success.

I tend to believe the TV company regarding the reasons for the judges leaving, i.e. it was about money not time or scheduling. It seems they were after a big increase, however considering the number of episodes and the worldwide popularity of the show, I don’t think they were being over paid.

I agree re the winner 🙁 and the way the final was scored. But I enjoyed the rest.

I don’t agree that the George situation has been blown out of proportion though, and he has not appeared very apologetic either. I also think that the 200k fine was tiny in relation to the scandal.

I also agree that Curtis probably has too many commitments in the US to sign up to this. I would like to see Kirsten Tibballs, Peter Gilmore and Adam Liaw or Marian Grasby as the next judges...

I’ve come back to this as I’m watching the final right now. Your comments (Claudette and Sam) have stuck with me the whole season as I’ve been dying to know who you weren’t keen on! I know who I want to win, but I don’t think they will.

As for the new judges, I read it was Curtis Stone, Maggie Beer and Po. Will miss Gary, George and Matt though.
