Firstly I'm not sure if this is Wales only so please check

Just had an E Mail that one can book a location/date/time for food shopping. No need to line up just go to the front the of the line and show the E Mail confirmation.

Well pleased as I'm fed up with lining up in the 'wind tunnel' outside our usual one. Saturday one just booked.

Nothing like that here in Edinburgh just now. My husband is just back from a quick shop 10 minutes ago - no need to book. We don’t even have to line up and haven't had to for months. It is quite a large food hall though.

My husband was buying pink and chocolate doughnuts for grandchildren who have been staying a few nights with us. They have got us well trained.

I suspect the store size is the key. Ours is quite small so we always line up. Not long mind but long enough to be frozen to death come February.

Grandchildren are as warm as toast at getting treats.

Our m& s is fairly small you only usually have to line up on saturday mid morning to mid afternoon, the rest of the time its fine

It’s an easy way for M & S to know who was in the store at a particular time for track & trace because you have to supply an email & mobile phone number when you make your booking. Big Brother is watching you!
