What if it is donald sutherland, planting the weapon in the grandsons case, to push the dad, Hugh, into feeling compelled to cover for him and take the blame. Donald may have known what hugh was up to and didn't like him anyway, so framed him.

Or maybe it was Nicole! 😂😂

I was going with Donald Sutherland and the weapon being planted... I am usually wrong though!

I haven't changed my mind since post my post on page 1 of the thread.

"My money is on the son"

I think the emphasis will switch from the who to the why - was he manipulated into doing it by someone. Hugh the sociopath has to be top of that list but is that a misdirection?

Or will there be another revelation?

I think the blonde lawyer is the other woman hugh slept with - that was only mentioned briefly - but significant I feel

Why has Nicole not told their lawyer - or anyone - about the way elena acres towards her? The fact that elena did a painting of her also seems to have attracted very little comment
