I’ve just put the figures into simplyduty/import-calculator/

It works it out as £7.73 tax, not sure if there would be a handling fee too.

We had something come from amazon.com in January, that came Hermes, but we paid the import duty upfront.

Many thanks. My reading of the pages is that the shipping company can add between £8 and £12 for the task of paying the import tax. This would take the watch out of being worth it! Personally I like the red Linus one which I have found at £35 but he doesn't.

Another recommendation for Angelbabe and if I knew for sure my next trip was on I'd happily bring it back for you, we Peanut fans have to stick together.

I think I need to book a trip just to buy one.

That does add quite a lot on! I saw the Linus one and thought that looked good too, Shame he doesn’t like it.

Trouble is I'm tempted to buy it myself and the last thing I need is another watch.

I never seem to come across other Peanuts fans - apart from the lovely GopherLass (who I haven't seen on here for years ).

Then 2 come along at once! You are obviously very discerning Dibbers. ...And like buses!

Hope you are able to get the Charlie Brown watch Dinglebert.
