I hoped it would be Patricia Carmichael. She sure scares the life out of me and I'm sure she must be involved with the OCG somehow !

I thought it was a good ending We had quite a few explosive episodes this series so didn't mind the *quiet* ending
Just hope there's another series to find out what happens to him, the hierarchy above him/them, the OCG and of course Hastings (Fella!) Kate & Steve

Imo it’s actually very clever as no one suspected him, even after he was arrested.
I would have been more disappointed if it was someone obvious. Seeing the original 3 interviewing and then turning it around was brilliant and classic Line of Duty.
I’m pretty sure Jos dad was Fairbank, we know he’s corrupt but still not sure if he was acting like he didn’t know Jo.
Buckells passed information on so the first time he saw the reality of someone getting killed did make him shake.
Osborne is covering his tracks with the botched murder case but not sure he’s involved with the OCG.
Jo deserved her happy ending, she seemed like she wanted to do the right thing but had been forced into helping the OCG.
Chloe is a star.
Agree with everything you say, even the clues that pointed to him seemed to obvious lol
Oh & Chloe needs her own spin off show, she was brilliant

It was certainly a disappointing ending! There were so many unanswered questions! The BBC have hinted that there will be a 7th series though so fingers crossed this happens.

I reckon it's pretty certain there'll be another series. It's a big thing for the BBC. The only reason I can see them not doing another one is if the writer doesn't want to do another.

I think it was a very fitting ending echoing what would probably happen in real life. No bang, crash expose of Mr Big - more a dawning realisation that they are bailing out a ship with a thimble.
Corruption succeeds where apathy, ambition and turning a blind eye prevails.

I think there will be more but hopefully consigning this one obsession to the past, as Carmichael said “nobody is interested in historic corruption cases”.
