I do have an issue with the continual trying to use the press to complain about both the press and the RF. If we are to believe this latest story then a report for a US network phoned up Meghan just to find out how she was. Not of course looking for a story. She says

If this were true that she was only inquiring after their health then why make a story out of it? It looks like they are trying to play a very dangerous game which is to have some reporters they feel they can "trust" to give favourable stories to while branding the rest of the media as putting out untrue stories about them. That has never ended well for anyone. The media care about one thing only which is to get a scoop and sell newspapers and reporters as history shows us will turn on any other reporter who appears to have an inside track.

This was Gayle King. Supposedly a friend of Meghans but definitely Oprah’s
Best friend for many many years.

If Gayle genuinely is a friend of Meghans then it seems odd that she wasn’t invited to the wedding but Oprah was?
