Best Water Park

We are trying to decide which water park to visit. We have made room for 1 day at a water park and we have Discovery Cove booked.

My youngest is 8 and isn't a strong swimmer. The older boys will definitely want some thrills.

I want to chill in a lazy river.

As a kid I did typhoon lagoon and that was when you could snorkel across a pool thing.

I was thinking Blizzard Beach?

Typhoon Lagoon for us - we all like the variety of rides especially the new family ride miss adventure falls. It is nice to 'ride' to the top in the raft rather than have to carry one to the top.

When DD was 8 she really loved Blizzard Beach. We all enjoyed the family raft ride and lazy river there too.

Typhoon Lagoon has the best wave pool, but it can get pretty crazy in there.

Both have a good mix of thrills, family and more relaxing experiences imo so I think you’d enjoy either.

Some people like Aquatica (if you have SW tickets), but we’ve not tried that one.

Personally, we wouldn’t bother with Volcano Bay again; far too busy, long queues even when your time comes up and the wave pool is tiny.

Out of the Disney ones, it’s Typoon Lagoon for us, just love the wave pool. Both have super rides and a very similar lazy river, obviously theming is very different. We visited Aquatica for the first time last trip, really loved that, the rides are better for older kids in my opinion.

As a family we absolutely loved Aquatica. Really awesome kids' areas (2 different ones), lazy river *and* rapid river, great slides, wave pools, sandy beach - don't get me wrong, we like the Disney ones too, but Aquatica was our favorite on our last trip last year.

Another vote for Aquatica even though after hauling my self and a ring to the top of one of the slides I was told I was too big and had to do the walk of shame back down

Must learn what weights are in Americanism as they dont do this stones stuff

Going back next year after my weight loss journey just to get on that ride

Of the Disney ones I like BB, but Volcano Bay is now my favourite if you have tickets for that.

Our favourite as a family is Aquatica, my favourite is Volcano Bay. Haven't been to the Disney parks for a while but they were getting a bit dated.
