Aquatica

Hello everyone,

Can anyone share their experiences at Aquatica with me?
Who enjoys it and why? I’ve never really thought about going before but it’s included in some tickets so I wondered if it was worth a visit?

It's my favourite because I hate speed/heights/coasters etc and Aquatica is chilled. Lazy river and a seat is all I need.

We love Roa rapids and find it a lot more fun than the lazy rivers at the Disney water parks
Ds loves going round and round and pretending he can’t get out!

It’s also got some decent slides

For me the themings not as good as the Disney ones and I’m not a fan of them having captive dolphins

We love aquatica. In our opinion, for adults, the rides are better than the Disney parks. And the rapids!

But I’ll caveat with that we haven’t been to Volcano Bay and that looks amazing.

We haven’t been since having kids so can’t comment on that area other than it looked massive but can’t wait to take them to all of them

If it is included in your tickets and you have the time defo go!

It’s our favourite water park. We’ve been to Volcano bay and the Disney ones.. definitely like Aquatica best. The rapids are brilliant. We spend most of our time in them!

It was our favourite til we visited volcano bay. It’s still great but seemed dated going from VB to there! The fast lazy river is lots of fun and is much tamer than the one at VB which you might prefer

I paid for a cabana (Very reasonable) for the wife for the day on a Sunday so she could chill and read a book whilst me and the two lads ran around having great fun.

Theming isn't as a good as the other three options but if you were buying a day ticket, I think is is the best value for money out of the 4.

I haven't been to the new Jimmy Buffet water park.

Like others have said, Aquatica used to be our No.1 waterpark park, but has now been replaced by Volcano Bay. However we would still fully recommend a visit

We really like Aquatica, we've been a few times. It's always been much quieter than the other water parks, queues not as big so it's made the days really easy!
We went early December so off peak and the food shops has strange hours, thats the only negative thing I can think of!

Love the rapids, nice kids area, good slides, lazy river and as mentioned its never as busy as other water parks.
