60 day fastpass
Hi all, we're still hoping to go Oct 22nd thinking 2 nights New Smyrna beach, 4 nights Anna Maria Island and 8 nights Orlando. Would like a 2 bed condo in Orlando but worried about not getting fastpasses. I thought back in the day you could stay 1 night in a cheap disney hotel and get to book fastpasses 60 days out for the whole week. Does anyone know if that works? Thanks in advance for any replies

There's currently still no fastpasses available, we don't know if the system will come back as it was since there's a lot of rumours floating around of changes.
But if it does, yes, you used to be able to do that so can't see why you couldn't once they return. |

I thought they had closed that loophole and you could only book 60 days in advance for the two days either side of your stay and the rest at 30 days? All irrelevant now now though I suppose as who knows what will come back!

I think that loophole was closed a few years back. If you book a Disney hotel for one night you only got check in and checkout day at 60 days. The rest would default back to a rolling 30 days out.

Ahh, you're right - it's now restricted to length of stay only. I didn't bother to check the latest rules on it since it's down at the moment anyway.
That will mean very little benefit of a 1 night stay as the top tier passes were typically already gone for 60 or even 60+1 and everything else can usually be gotten at 30. Edited at 10:13 PM. |
